Bradford is situated in West Yorkshire which is a county in England. Since around the year 2000 Bradford has really become a much better place for a night out. Bradford gay bars and Bradford gay clubs are always crowded. This used to be a relatively quiet area but in recent years it has become a very rowdy and fun place to go out.
Bradford has a select few bars and clubs which means that it is easier for you to decide on where you want to go. Gay bars include The Sun which has recently been refurbished and now offers a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere with regular cabaret shows, DJ’s and a quiz night every Tuesday. Situated about 5 minutes walk from the train and bus links; The Sun Inn is a great place to go for drinks with your friends.
Gay clubs include the Candy Club which is a popular club open from 7pm to 2am Thursday-Sunday. It has two floors and a capacity of about 500. The gay scene in Bradford is eclectic and on offer is a variety of gay clubs and gay friendly bars and each offers something a little different. This is a part of the country that is rapidly changing and what was considered taboo only a couple of years ago is now readily accepted and integrated as part of life. The majority of people are warm and friendly, hospitality is a central theme but you do need to exercise caution as change may have been rapid for some who have not yet accepted the scene.
